Returning home from their two week stay in Hyannis for the North Americans, Lasers and Radials from the Quebec Sailing Team stopped over in Buffaloe, ON for the 2007 Laser Canadians. This grade 1 regatta qualified two more athletes to attend the 2008 Laser Worlds in Australia.
Muscles tired from their racing in Hyannis, the athletes were greeted for their first two training days with strong northerly winds and massive swells brought in from a local weather system. Boats in the through of the swells would disappear with only the tip of their masts showing, the largest waves this coach has ever seen.
The three day event had moderate small chop conditions ranging from a northerly 10-15 knots the first two days and diminishing to 5-8 the last day.
