Having lived near the water his entire life, Christian Nadeau always had a strong bond with aquatic environments. He worked as a park ranger during a decade (James Bay, Magdalen Islands, Gaspesie, and Bas St-Laurent area), guided inflatables boat tours at the Bic Park, and was introduced to sailing in 1983 on a Lecomte 40 in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Florida.
Since then, he sailed dinghies and catamarans, and cruised the St-Lawrence estuary and Saguenay Fjord. After his children were born, his girlfriend and he successively owned a Mistral 16, a Tanzer 7.5 and a C&C 32. They sailed these boats as one happy family on several lakes: Deux Montagnes, St-Louis, St-François, Champlain and Ontario. As a certified instructor, he teaches sailing on Lake Champlain, Lac des Deux Montagnes, and on the Saguenay Fjord. Every now and then he also gets on board for boat deliveries away from his home waters.
Working as a management consultant for the last 20 years, he guides executives of private and public organizations and help them improve their strategic planning and their organizational transitions. He is a bachelor in finance and marketing and a strategic management MBA.
