Montreal, May 19th, 2015 - Despite light winds, the annual Ice Breaker regatta took place last weekend. 4 Quebecers raced in the Radial class: Justin Robichaud, Marc Andrew Robin, Coralie Vittecoq and Justin Vittecoq.

As the weather did not cooperate, only three races where sailed over the weekend at the Toronto Sailing & Canoe Club! In Radials, the Vittecoq family took silver and bronze (Justin 2nd and Coralie 3rd). Gold to bronze were tied for first place based on points! On a tie breaker, the gold went to Matti Muru from Ontario with the best finishes for the three races. Justin Robichaud sailed well with a 3rd in his first race, finishing 8th overall. Marc Andrew Robin finished 16th overall with an 8th place for his final race. Congratulations to Team Quebec with a great warm up regatta as a start of an awesome 2015 season! Head Coach Rosie Chapman says "I am happy with the way the athletes sailed! Obviously it was disappointing not to hit the water on Saturday, but the team and I enjoyed playing football and beating Team Ontario! The race committees did well in the tricky conditions! I am looking forward to the rest of the season. "
