Montreal, 9th June, 2015 - The annual camp was held at the Royal saint Lawrence on May 30-31st, with 23 athletes and 4 coaches from Quebec, this was the largest spring camp yet.
Stephane Locas heads up the 420 team, the athletes where thrilled with the world class’s feedback Stephane was able to offer them. With six (6) 420s training on Saturday, Stephane commented “the group has a lot of potential”. National team athlete Martin coached the 8 radials, “things got a little full on in the puffs, but overall the group impressed me”. Maxime headed up the Optis, with three sailors this year we hope to expand the group in the fall. A special thanks to the Actiform staff who lead the fitness training in the morning and Alexia de Macar who ran a great nutrition seminar on Sunday morning for athletes and parents.
Head coach Rosie Chapman said: “I was delighted to have so many athletes on the water; I am looking forward to following all the athletes this summer”.
