From August 1st to August 4th 2018 took place the 52nd Quebec Games Final at the Thetford-Mines Club (Chaudieres-Appalaches region).

The competition took place on Lac St-François, at Parc Frontenac (9001 Rang A, Sainte-Praxède, G0N 1E1)

 

In 2018, approximately 60 young athletes attended the event and represented 13 regions. (32 athletes in the Optimist class and 31 in the Topper class)

The Games competitions were under the "round robin" format. Each race had 10 or 11 participating athletes, 3 races were necessary to form a round. The finale will be on Saturday morning, with the top 10 athletes based on their performances of the past 3 days.

Criteria to participate at the 2018 Games:

- Be an athlete from Quebec.

- Represent a qualified region in 2017

- Be aged between 12 to 17 years old during the Games

- Have previously participated to a selection competition in 2018.

- Belong to the Espoir category.
